a new Era for Marked MOOn Ink

Hey everybody! HUGE SHOP NEWS!

The month of August has been a WILD ride to say the least. I (and the rest of the team) found out that our lease was going up WAY too much money, and decided we could not afford the extra cost. Due to that, we had to SCRAMBLE to find a new home for our beloved shop. I was bummed at first because I really grew to love and cherish the little space I created, but as they say, when one door closes another one opens. Despite the panic, we were able to find a new place for the shop!

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to find anything affordable in New Stanton :(, BUT we did find a spot only 15 minutes down the road in Mount Pleasant! Luckily, we were able to get a place still in Westmoreland county AND were in the middle of town!

I am so excited for this next chapter for Marked Moon Ink. Along with a new location, we also have new shop hours, AND a new logo! Our old logo simply just wasn’t what I wanted in the very beginning. It was made in a rushed moment and made with AI ( going AGAINST what I had originally wanted). A new logo was in the works for a while but I figured a move was the best time to put it into motion. You should already be seeing the new logo and new hours when you see this so I hope you like it! The new logo was made by my apprentice Haru, and I absolutely ADORE IT. I’m happy to have been able to support a local artist, and to support my friends.

Stay tuned for more information on the GRAND RE-OPENING we’ll be having on September 6th! It’ll be fun so make sure you’re looking out for that!

Thank you to everyone who has been on this journey with me and the rest of Marked Moon Ink. We wouldn’t have the space we have without any of you, and I hope to have Marked Moon Ink be around for a LONG long time, no matter where it is.
